Vicon invented the RotaFlow rear mounted disc spreading system, and the ‘RO’ range leads the way in terms of flexibility, easy of use, fine adjustment, economy and adaptability. The range includes seven models varying in size and function, from the compact RO-C spreading 700-1400l up to 21m across, right up to the RO-XL, which can spread up to 3900l of fertiliser up to a maximum width of 54m.
There are also the EW/EDW models with self-correcting weighing systems for sloping farmland, the GEOspread models, built to maximise spreading efficiency, and Vicon’s top of the range spreader, the RO-EDW GEOspread, with both those capabilities and XL size. All of which can be operated with the IsoMatch Tellus, IsoMatch Tellus GO or any ISOBUS compatible terminal.
The top of the range model. With the unique reference sensor, the RO-EDW will correct automatically on slopes & for shocks, for high accuracy spreading on rough terrains and in hilly conditions. Speed related spreading, with auto calibration, will help to prevent over and under dosing: better yields, less fertiliser. For even more accuracy, cost-efficiency & comfort, use the RO-EDW with GPS. It is even possible to do variable rate spreading according to application maps.
High-capacity spreader with a spread of up to 54m spread & 3450l max capacity. With dual PTO input shafts on the centre gearbox, it is easier to keep at the desired speed. In combination with the ‘slow rotating’ agitator system, the RO-XL can spread with high disc speeds to get a very even spreading pattern.
This mid range model can spread up to 28 metres & comes with the RotaFlow system as standard. It also comes with 8 vanes per disc for the same spreading quality as the bigger spreaders. The RO-M can be operated hydraulically or electrically, and can be operated from the tractor cab via the Comfort Control II computer.
